Antidoping seminar

IOF and Lithuania orienteering federation organises a short anti-doping seminar on 25 September from 15:00 to 17:00 CEST at Lithuania sport center „Druskininkai” for athletes and team officials at EOC 2026. The seminar will be held in conference room – the same location/room as the Team Officials Meeting for all days.

AGENDA FOR THE SEMINAR:

1. Welcome and introduction to the anti-doping landscape
2. Anti-doping rule violations (ADRVs)
3. Medications – including useful tips
4. Supplements – how to make informed decisions and food-first approach
5. Therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs)
6. Closing remarks

The seminar will be delivered by the International Testing Agency’s (ITA’s) Education Department. IOF partnered with ITA in 2022 to strengthen the operational work and governance related to our anti-doping work and responsibilities through the WADA Code.

No pre-registration is required, and all participants are welcome to ask questions during the seminar.

We encourage athletes and team officials to attend this short seminar and acquire insight of high relevance when competing at international level.
